Former Fargo band teacher pleads guilty to charges involving minor

(Fargo, ND) -- In an update to a story we've followed for you over the last two months, it appears that a former band teacher in the Fargo Public Schools has admitted his guilt involving an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Former Fargo South High School band teacher Sebastian Tackling has pleaded guilty to corruption of a minor charges. Tackling entered the plea in Cass County this week.

He was arrested in November for alleged sexual relations with a 17-year-old female student. After being placed on leave, Tackling resigned from his position in the Fargo School District in the beginning of December. He had been with Fargo Schools for 12 years as a music instructor.

Tackling is expected back in court for sentencing in March.
