(Fargo, ND) -- The North Dakota BCI and the FBI are releasing more details in a news conference later this morning into the investigation surrounding a shootout that killed a Fargo officer, a suspect, and critically injured three others; including two officers.

The North Dakota Attorney General accuses Mohamad Barakat of engaging in a "savage attack" against the officers and bystanders, and thanked Officer Zachary Robinson for stopping what could have been a larger and potentially more deadly event. WDAY Radio and Flag Family Media will be starting live coverage just after 10 a.m., where more details will be released.

North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley, Chief Deputy Attorney General Claire Ness, BCI Special Agent Casey Miller, Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski, and other law enforcement and first responders are expected to be in attendance. WDAY Radio and AM 1100 The Flag will carry the conference live on-air and on our social media platforms
