(Bismarck, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum has signed an executive order creating a Teacher Retention and Recruitment Task Force.
The task force is designed to address the state's chronic teacher shortage.
The governor today said he will appoint between eleven and 15 members from across the education community to identify issues and recommend policies and best practices for retaining and recruiting teachers.
