Former ND Senator Tim Flakoll announces run for Cass County Commission

(Cass County, ND) -- A former state senator is announcing his intent to run for Cass County Commission.

Tim Flakoll is running for Cass County Commission District 1, which is currently chaired by board Chairman Chad Peterson. Flakoll says he will work to strengthen public policy, keep property taxes low in the rural portion of the county, continue to foster economic development, and more. 

"Cass County needs a creative problem solver who has a strong background and track record of balancing both rural and urban interests. My goal will be to continue to develop Cass County into the best place in America to live, work, and raise a family in safe communities," said Flakoll.

Flakoll chaired the Agriculture and Education committees and was the vice-chair of the interim Natural Resources Committee during his time in the Legislature.
