FARGO, N.D. – Ground has been broken for Fargo’s new elementary school.
On Friday, Fargo Public Schools held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Horace Mann Elementary School. Students and staff from Horace Mann, Roosevelt, and Madison elementary schools as well as District employees, members of the Fargo Board of Education, and representatives from ICON Architectural Group and Kraus Anderson Construction attended the ceremony, marking the beginning of the construction process of the District’s newest school, scheduled to open in Fall 2028.
Earlier this year, the Fargo Board of Education approved moving forward with the project, which will bring together the Horace Mann-Roosevelt and Madison attendance areas under a single building. The existing buildings will close when the new building is opened.
