MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – Moorhead Area Public Schools has responded to a situation that caused concern for parents on Wednesday, April 30.
In a statement, they says they’re aware of the situation and are working closely with the Moorhead Police Department to conduct a thorough investigation.
This response comes after parents reported to Valley News Live that a student at Robert Asp Elementary School allegedly made a threat to other students that they were going to bring a gun to school.
Moorhead Area Public School’s continues by saying law enforcement performed a home visit Wednesday evening and determined that there is no credible threat to the school, students, or staff.
They have confirmed that the student involved is not in class on Thursday, April 30.
