Study: Vaccines Better At Preventing COVID Reinfection Than Natural Immunity

(Atlanta, GA) -- A new study suggests being fully vaccinated is more effective at preventing another COVID-19 infection.

The CDC study said those who came down with the virus last year, but didn't get vaccinated were twice as likely to get it again in May or June of this year. This led CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky to make another plea for Americans to get vaccinated.

Her plea comes as the Delta variant is fueling another COVID surge across the nation.
