Shooter at UNLV dead - authorities searching for victims

(Las Vegas, NV)  --  Police have converged on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas after an active shooter was declared dead, but there may be multiple victims.

The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the shooter was deceased, but did add there "appears to be multiple victims at this time."  

Dozens of officers are on the scene and roads around campus are closed.  

A shelter-in-place order is still in effect for students on campus and there is a ground-stop at the city's airport.  

Police have not updated the scene so far.
