More than 200 false bomb threats, swatting Incidents against Jewish facilities over the weekend

(Washington, DC)  --  A non-profit that tracks threats against Jewish communities says there were more than 200 false bomb threats and "swatting" calls over the weekend.

The Secure Community Network says those incidents targeted facilities in California, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut and Washington among other states.

"Swatting" refers to prank calls to authorities in order to send a SWAT team to someone under the false pretense a crime is happening.
