Vandalism reported at Lincoln Memorial

(Washington, DC)  --  U.S. Park Police are investigating a case of vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial.  Red paint was found on steps near the memorial yesterday afternoon.

Among the messages painted on the steps were the words "Free Gaza."  The National Park Service has begun work to remove the paint and say the effort could take several days.
