8:25 a.m. update: Trump wins Iowa caucuses

8:25 a.m. Tuesday update: (Des Moines, IA) -- All results have now been tabulated from the Iowa Republican Presidential caucus.

With 110,298 votes cast across the 99 counties in Iowa, former President Donald J. Trump received 56,260 votes, or 51 percent of the votes cast. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis finished second, followed by former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

11 p.m. Monday update: (Des Moines, IA) -- With 90 percent of the county votes approve, former President Donald J. Trump is the projected winner of the Iowa Republican caucus.

Trump has received more than 55,000 votes, or 51 percent of the votes cast. As of publication time, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in second with 21 percent of the vote, followed by former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

ORIGINAL STORY: (Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa GOP Presidential Caucus is underway.

Nearly 60 minutes into the caucus, multiple media outlets, including the Fox Decision Desk, are reporting that former President Donald J. Trump will win the Iowa caucuses.

As of 7:55 p.m., with 1,522 votes counted, more than 57 percent of the voters cast their vote for Trump. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley are battling for second place in the first caucus state.
