(St. Paul, MN) -- A model developed by Mayo Clinic predicts that Minnesota's surge of omicron cases will peak next week.
The model shows that the fifth wave of the pandemic will peak next Wednesday, then cases will drop off dramatically. The Mayo model is based on how the omicron variant driving the latest surge has spread in other areas.
The state reported over ten-thousand new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, along with 29 additional deaths.
