(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota GOP lawmakers are proposing an alternative for paid family and medical leave.
The proposal announced Monday would authorize insurance companies to offer employees varying degrees of paid family and medical leave. Businesses with up to 50 workers would be given tax credits of up to three-thousand dollars to help them buy policies.
The credits will be capped at 50 million.
