(Wahpeton, ND) -- North Dakota's State Board of Higher Education(SBHE) has selected Dr. Rod Flanigan to be the next president of the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS).
Dr. Flanigan will be the 10th president to oversee the college. Twenty-one candidates were considered for the position after review, narrowing to a group of four candidates.
“Dr. Flanigan offers unique leadership skills and partnership abilities, which will serve NDSCS well into the future,” said SBHE member Jeffry Volk, “I am proud of the work our committee accomplished and those efforts will now be applied through the efforts of the newly selected president of the institution. We found the right leader at the right time.”
Dr. Flanigan will assume the position at NDSCS "No later than July 1, 2022."
