(Morton County, ND) -- The Morton County Sheriff's Office and The North Dakota Highway Patrol say a man has passed away from his injures that occurred in Morton County two-vehicle crash.
Officials with the NDHP say 38-year-old Bismarck resident Ryan Schmidt was driving northbound on Highway 1806 when he crossed into a the wrong lane into oncoming traffic. Officials say a second vehicle driven by 19-year-old Cannonball resident Jonah White Eagle was struck head-on by Schmidt's vehicle.
White Eagle was transported to the ER in Bismarck, and eventually taken to Fargo. White Eagle passed away from his injuries on August 23rd.
