Bemidji police locate and arrest armed robbery suspect

(Bemidji, MN) -- The Bemidji Police Department says a suspect is in custody following an armed robbery and attempted getaway. 

Authorities say an armed robbery occurred at Wells Fargo Bank at 2024 Paul Bunyan Drive NW on Tuesday. Police say the suspect fled on foot and entered a vehicle, fleeing from the scene. Authorities asked for the public's help in locating the suspect vehicle, and announced on social media later in the day the suspect was arrested.
