Spring blizzard forces Minnesota Twins to delay home opener

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  The Minnesota Twins are delaying their home opener due to Thursday's weather forecast.

The team was set to play the Houston Astros on Thursday, but the possibility of frigid temperatures, powerful winds, and some precipitation led the ballclub to push back the game to Friday.

All festivities surrounding the home opener will also be moved to Friday, including Breakfast on the Plaza.
