Roads in North Dakota reopen; No Travel Advisories remain in effect

(Statewide) — All roads in the state of North Dakota have reopened.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation, along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol, have now reopened the westbound lanes on Interstate 94 from Jamestown to Dawson. This portion of I-94 was previously closed due to icy road conditions.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation says much of south central North Dakota is still under a No Travel Advisory, extending east into Barnes and Steele Counties. Additionally, all of eastern North Dakota, and into the Devils Lake Basin, are under a Travel Alert.

Portions of the Red River Valley, extending west into the James River Valley, continue to be under an Ice Storm Warning until midnight tonight, while the remaining counties in the valley are under a Winter Weather Advisory, also in effect until midnight tonight.
