(Bismarck, ND) -- The latest census finds that more women are working on North Dakota's farms and ranches.
In 2022, one-point-two-million women accounted for 36-percent of all producers in North Dakota, making up 30-percent of the state's farmers and ranchers.
The census also shows that 11-percent of producers in the state are 34-years-old or younger, but the average age of North Dakota farmers and ranchers is 56-point-eight.
