(Owatonna, MN) -- Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is preparing to deliver the State of the State address for Minnesota away from St. Paul.
Typically the address is delivered at the state capitol, but Governor Walz told MPR he will be speaking at the Owatonna High School to highlight education and workforce development initiatives. He is also expected to speak on abortion, gun control, and IVF treatments.
A response from the state's GOP is expected to be delivered by Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson following the address.
