NDSU Football Adds Three Players To The 2022 Signing Class

     North Dakota State football head coach Matt Entz announced the addition of three players to the 2022 signing class.

     With the additions NDSU’s 2022 signing class has grown to 34 student-athletes. The first 31 signed during December’s three day early signing period.

     The National Signing Day commitments are cornerback Jaquise Alexander from Ruskin, Fla., long snapper Caleb Bowers from Whitefish Bay, Wis., and athlete Isaac Hyland from Fond du Lac, Wis.

     Jaquise Alexander is 5-foot-10-inches and was a four-year starter at Tampa Catholic High School. He served as a team captain this past season as a senior. In his high school career he was an all-conference honoree with five interceptions, including helping lead his Crusaders to the Class 3A regional semifinals in 2021. Alexander plans to major in management.

     Caleb Bowers is 6-foot-2-inches and started all four years for Whitefish Bay High School. He was an all-conference honoree as both an offensive lineman and defensive lineman as a senior. He also helped the Blue Dukes to a state quarterfinals appearance in 2021. Bowers finished his high school career with 42 total tackles that included 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. He currently plans to major in business administration.

     Isaac Hyland is 5-foot-10 inches and was a three-year starter at St. Mary’s Springs Academy. During that time he was a two-time all-conference honoree at both defensive back and running back. In his high school career Hyland made 159 career tackles, 14 tackles for loss, with two forced fumbles and three interceptions. On the offensive side of the ball he averaged 6.9 yards per carry with 2,491 career yards on the ground and 31 touchdowns. Hyland will major in computer engineering.
