(Minneapolis, MN) -- Gophers head coach PJ Fleck is under a bit of fire after an outlet called "Front Office Sports" published an article alleging a toxic culture within the Minnesota football program. The article included interviews with anonymous former players who labeled the program as a "cult," and referenced a "Fleck Bank" that limited punishments for players who built up moral equity in the eyes of Fleck.

Minnesota athletic director Mark Coyle responded to the article by saying he hasn't heard any complaints about the program's culture. Quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis and safety Tyler Nubin were among a number players to defend Fleck after the article was published, with Nubin calling it a "hit piece."
