(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Wild opened up the 2023-24 season with a 2-0 win over the Florida Panthers at the Xcel Energy Center.
Brock Faber scored his first career goal in the eighth minute of the contest, and Joel Eriksson Ek lit the lamp in the second period. Filip Gustavsson saved all 41 shots he saved to give Minnesota the victory. The Wild begin the season 1-0-0.
Minnesota visits Toronto tomorrow night.
