(St. Paul, MN) -- Kirill Kaprizov came up clutch for the second game in a row as the Wild beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 in an overtime thriller at the Xcel Energy Center.

Matt Boldy and Marco Rossi each scored in the first period to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead, but the Habs stormed back to tie the game. Brock Faber gave Minnesota another brief lead on the power play before Juraj Slafkovsky scored with about three minutes left in regulation to send the game to OT. Kaprizov found the back of the net with five seconds left in the extra period to give Minnesota the win.

The Wild have now won five of their last six game. Minnesota will host Boston on Saturday night.
