(Detroit, MI) -- The Minnesota Vikings are missing out on the postseason after a 30-20 loss to the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

The Purple dug themselves into a 13-0 hole through the first quarter, and Detroit kept them at an arm's length even after Minnesota finally found the endzone in the second half. Nick Mullens passed for 396 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the losing effort. Justin Jefferson caught 12 passes for 192 yards and a score, becoming just the third player in NFL history to reach 1000 receiving yards in ten games or less.

The Vikings finished the season 7-10 and have the 11th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
