Mild, Breezy Weekend..... Then The Warmest Day So Far This Year....Fire Conditions Reach Near Critical Levels

Mild temperatures and breezy winds for our weekend. A slight chance of rain Saturday morning then partly sunny/mostly cloudy with a high in the upper 40's with NW winds between 10-25mph. We warm up a tad bit for Sunday, mostly sunny with highs near 50 and NW->S winds between 10-20mph. Temperatures drastically increase for Monday due to strong south winds between 15-25 gusting as high as 40mph and mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the low to mid 70's!!! The record high for Fargo on Monday is 76... We will have a decent shot at breaking this record but, I think we will fall just short of 76 degrees here in the F/M area. With these strong southerly winds and warm dry air fire conditions will likely reach a critical level as our moderate drought continues... which is why the National Weather Service out of Grand Forks, ND has already issued a Fire Watch for Monday 3-29-21. We are in desperate need of moisture and will take any amount we can get, but as of now, it looks like our drought is going to continue with only a couple of slight chances of rain over the next week.
