GRAND FORKS COUNTY, N.D. – North Dakota Health and Human Services officials have confirmed a case of measles in Grand Forks County.
The infected person was at Altru Hospital’s emergency room in Grand Forks on Sunday, April 12. HHS officials say this is the only active case in the state.
Thirty-three measles cases have been confirmed in North Dakota in 2026 including 23 in Pembina County, six in Ransom County and one each in Traill, Walsh and Williams counties. HHS officials say 25 people who got infected weren’t vaccinated, six were and two people have unknown vaccinated status.
