On Tuesday, May 12 the Fargo Force fell to the Sioux Falls Stampede 3-2 in the decisive Game 5 of their Western Conference Final series.
Graham Jones and Axel Lofgren each scored for Fargo. Both Jones and Lofgren also recorded an assist along with Kolin Sisson. Ajay White saved 35 of the 38 shots he faced in net.
The Stampede were led by a pair of goals from Logan Renkowski. Joey Macrina added a goals for Sioux Falls. Ryder Betzold recorded a pair of assists while Thomas Zocco, Tobias Ohman, and Anthony Bongo each tallied an assist. Linards Feldbergs saved 18 of the 20 shots he fielded between the pipes.
Sioux Falls won the best-of-five series 3-2. There were 5,971 fans in attendance at the Denny Sanford Premier Center for the game.
The Stampede will now battle the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the best-of-five Clark Cup Finals series.
