Raid of home in Red Lake leads to drug bust

(Red Lake, MN) -- The Red Lake Police Department says two people are in custody after a drug bust Wednesday.

Authorities say two women, who were not identified, were caught with a 1/2 pound of Fentanyl, two ounces of meth and cash during a raid of a home in Red Lake. The suspects are facing charges of narcotics possession and sale of a controlled substance.

Officers did add that Fentanyl has been linked to numerous overdoses on the reservation, some of which have been deadly.
