Fargo Kindergarten registration opens February 1st

(Fargo, ND) -- Early registration is open for Fargo Kindergarten centers for the 2022-2023 school year. 

Fargo Public Schools (FPS) is asking family members looking to send their children to kindergarten classes to register their child as soon as they can. FPS says early registration allows for the school district to plan for staffing needs and acquire classroom materials for the first day of class on August 25th. 

FPS says your child must be age 5 by July 31st, 2022 in order to attend school this fall. Registration is two distinct steps.

Step one: Register Online

You can complete registration forms online by clicking here. You can also contact the school to schedule an appointment to complete in-person.

Step two: Submit Documentation

FPS needs you to either upload or bring in-person the following documentation by August 25th to complete registration.
- Your child's certified birth certificate
- Your child's immunization record with 5-year shots
- Documents which include a parent or guardian's name and current address (a current city utility bill or bank statement)
