(Fargo, ND) -- Southtown Pourhouse is facing a liquor violation from 2019 head on Thursday, February 10th at a Special Meeting held by the Fargo City Commission.

In short, the liquor violation occurred when the business failed to meet the 50/50 food and liquor distribution requirement. The violation has been stated to be that they only cook 42 percent of their food in house and they contract out to Duane's Pizza for the remainder. The City says that the lack of official partnership between Southtown and Duane's means that the 8 percent discrepancy is not accounted for.

Southtown's legal representative has said that they haven't violated any laws because there is a partnership. The Special City Commission meeting will be held at 12:00 p.m. to conduct a full hearing on the alleged violation and decide next steps.
