Fargo Police search for driver who fled from traffic stop

(Fargo, ND)  --  Police in Fargo are looking for the driver who fled from a traffic stop and then ditched their car and ran.  

Officers tried to stop a vehicle shortly before 4:30 this morning after the driver ran a stop sign.  

The driver took off and the vehicle was found later in a parking lot nearby.  

A K-9 unit was called in to assist but the driver was not located.
