Moorhead High School coach and Career Academy business teacher dies suddenly

(Moorhead, MN) -- A Moorhead High School Football coach and business teacher's sudden death is leaving several members of the community stunned.

Jason Thielges passed away on October 24th. He was known for his high standards for himself and his students, and had the respect of colleagues and community members. At this time, it is unknown how Thielges passed away. 

';The MHS Administration was notified Monday evening of the death of Jason Thielges. Jason joined Moorhead Area Public Schools last year and was a Work Based Learning and Business Teacher at the Moorhead High School Career Academy as well as a member of the Spud Football and Track coaching staff. Jason will be greatly missed and our deepest condolences are with his family. "

Moorhead Area Public Schools says they have grief counselors available for district students and staff.
