(Princeton, NJ) -- President Biden says he's serious about pursuing a prisoner exchange for a Wall Street Journal reporter from New Jersey.
Evan Gershkovich has been detained in Russia for more than 100 days and the Kremlin previously said it was open to exchanging prisoners.
Biden made his most recent comments while speaking at a news conference in Finland, saying the process is already underway.
Gershkovich was arrested on espionage charges while on a trip to report but he has denied these allegations.
