Planners waiting on further input from residents for two major projects in Minot

(Minot, ND) -- Plans for two Minot buildings could be changing due to public demand soon.  

The Minot Park District Board recently met with architects from the design company that's laying out plans for the Maysa Arena and the Minot Municipal Auditorium. Based on a survey conducted last year, Minot residents say they want another indoor ice rink, a playground for kids, and a basketball court split between the two facilities.  

In Mid-February, city officials will be hosting public forums for residents to come and see the drafts of plans for the arenas and provide more input into exactly how the buildings will be utilized.
