(Minneapolis, MN) -- Hennepin County Sheriff David Hutchinson will not be seeking reelection in November.
Hutchinson pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor driving charge after crashing his county-owned SUV in December of 2021 after a sheriff's conference in Alexandria. The Sheriff was sentenced to two years of probation following the guilty plea.
Hutchinson took office in 2018 after defeating incumbent Rich Stanek.
