Meeting set for commission seeking to redesign Minnesota state flag

(Fargo, ND) -- The first meeting is set for Tuesday to discuss new designs for Minnesota's State Flag.

The Emblems Redesign Commission says it's goal to create designs that accurately reflect the state's history, resources, and diverse cultural communities.

The commission said it will ask for public feedback to improve chosen designs.

The commission has until January 1st 2024 to report the design to the legislature and governor.
