Vikings rookie receiver is active after an ankle injury suffered last week

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison is active for this weekend's game against the Chicago Bears.

Addison is going to play Sunday after he suffered an ankle injury in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He was limited in practice this week as he was nursing the injury and was questionable until Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell confirmed to the media that we would be available. Addison will have to step up as Justin Jefferson was placed on injured reserve following a hamstring injury suffered in the waining moments of the Kansas City loss.

The 1-4 Vikings head to Soldier Field in Chicago to take on the 1-4 Bears at noon on FOX.
